Nigerian singer Teni is currently trending on the micro blogging platform over her disrespect to the president.

Kemi Filani news reported that the federal government had conferred National awards to over 400 Nigerians and foreigners, on Tuesday, 11th of October, 2022.


, who was one of the honorees of the night, had sparked mixed reactions over her behavior at the ceremony.

In the video circulating online, Teni was seen bouncing as she took to the stage to receive her award.

Surprisingly, the singer didn’t pay courtesy to the president.

Her action didn’t sit well with many, as they took to Twitter to call her out. Many considered her behavior, disrespectful to the president.

Ezra Olubi, the co-founder of paystack received the OON award (Order Of The Niger) at the 2022 National Honors ceremony held on Tuesday, 11th October 2022.

As Olubi came forward to receive his award, his outfit and appearance caused president Buhari to fix his gaze on him in a very funny way.
